Why can't I access my appraisee's Appraisal?

This article would only be applicable to users with an Appraiser system role on their account. If you are an appraisee who cannot submit their Appraisal, please see this video.

If you cannot open your current appraisee’s newest Appraisal form and Portfolio from your SARD account, it is most likely because the appraisee has not yet submitted it to you.

You should receive a system notification as soon as your appraisee submits their Appraisal form/Portfolio on the system. The appraisee's submitted Appraisal will be highlighted red on your main Dashboard. It will also be listed under the Appraisals Requiring Action tab on your Appraiser Dashboard. For more information on navigating Appraiser Dashboard, please see this article.

The status (state) of each appraisee's most recent Appraisal will be indicated under the Appraisal Compliance tab on your Appraiser Dashboard.

If you see "Draft" next to a given Appraisal on Appraiser Dashboard, it means the appraisee still needs to submit it by clicking on the 'Submit to Appraiser' button below the last section of their Appraisal form.

Apart from seeing the Appraisal state (Draft/Submitted/Complete), you can also see progress made, including the number of completed Portfolio sections.

Should the Submit to Appraiser button be greyed out for the appraisee, it means that they have not marked each section of their Appraisal form and Portfolio as complete, effectively preventing them from submitting the Appraisal to you.

If this is the case, please advise the appraisee to complete the Portfolio part of the Appraisal and to submit it as soon as possible.

In case of further issues with submitting a seemingly complete Appraisal, please ask the appraisee to contact us via live chat or email, or to see this video.
