Navigating Appraiser Dashboard
The Appraiser Dashboard is a feature available to users with an Appraiser role on their SARD account. It provides appraisers with an overview of their allocated appraisees and their progress on various activities, including Appraisals, Medical Revalidation, and MSF/360 (if applicable).
If you are listed as an Appraiser at your organisation and have appraisees assigned to you, you will see the Appraiser Dashboard shortcut in the top-left corner of the screen, right next to the My Dashboard drop-down list:

Should you be indicated on the system as Appraiser but you cannot see Appraiser Dashboard after logging in to SARD, it means that you currently do not have any appraisees allocated to you. If this is the case, please get in touch with your organisation's administrator whose contact details can be found under Help & Support on your Dashboard.
Appraiser Dashboard has up to four main tabs listed on the left-hand side: Appraisals Requiring Action, Appraisal Compliance, Appraisee Management* and Completed Appraised Appraisals.
- Appraisals Requiring Action – this tab lists all submitted Appraisals that need your attention. It has three columns: Appraisal, Appraisee, and Status (e.g., "Section 14 and Section 15 of Dr Example's Appraisal now need to be completed"). If no action from you is required, this tab will not be visible.
- Appraisal Compliance – clicking on this tab will allow you to see non-compliant and compliant appraisees as well as appraisees with upcoming renewal. The list of Appraisees will indicate their Name, Revalidation Submission Date, Appraisal Due Date, Current Appraisal and Last Appraisal. You can see at a glance the progress made on the appraisee's current Portfolio, and the state (Draft/Submitted) of their current Appraisal. To view appraisee's previous complete Appraisals, click on their name in the Appraisal Compliance tab to be redirected to the Appraisal Compliance Report page.
- Appraisee Management* – depending on your organisation, under this tab you can reject a nomination if you think that you should not be the appraiser for an appraisee.
- Completed Appraised Appraisals – under this tab you can find all past Appraisals you have been the appraiser for. Please note that you will not be able to access Appraisals of dormant users.
If you are involved in your appraisees' MSF/360 at your organisation, you will also have another tab called Appraisee MSF/360. Depending on your organisation, you may be responsible for reviewing the list of nominees for colleague feedback and for emailing the link to the GMC colleague questionnaire via this tab. You may also be asked to review newly generated MSF reports and to mark appraisees' MSFs as complete in the Appraisee MSF/360 tab.
In case you were nominated to be someone's second appraiser, and if you are already listed on the system as Appraiser, you will see a tab called Additional Appraisals Requiring Action. Just like Appraisals Requiring Action, this tab will show which section of a submitted Appraisal form needs to be completed by you.
