What the Actions icons in my eDocuments do?
Your eDocs (My eDocuments) page has up to five icons listed in the last column on the right-hand side called Actions. Please see brief description of their function below:
Eye (eDoc Info) icon – clicking on it will bring a pop-up window with basic information about a document, such as file name, type (i.e., PDF, Word), its size, uploader's name, date of uploading and whether this document is attached to any datasets, for example a specific section of last year's Portfolio.
Pencil (Edit Title) icon – if you click on this icon, you will be able to edit the document name, to be followed by clicking Save.
Paperclip (Attach to current portfolio) icon – once clicked, it will bring the Assign to Portfolio pop-up window, through which you will be able to upload a document to a specific dataset, meaning chosen section of your current Portfolio. Apart from the file destination, you can also state an expiry date as well as a brief description in the Content box. Once done entering the details, click Save.
Cloud/arrow (Download) icon – depending on file type and how your web browser is set up, clicking on this icon will either open a document or download it to your device.
Trashcan (Destroy) icon – as the name suggests, this icon is for deleting any unwanted document from your eDocs folder.
