Scope of Work from my previous Appraisal was not carried over to the new Appraisal. Why?

This article is applicable to users whose Appraisal form has been recently updated to version 7.0 or 7.1. You can check which version your Appraisal is in Section 1 (Appraisal Info).

Certain information such as Personal Details or Previous PDP (Personal Development Plan) is automatically carried over from the previous Appraisal to the next one. Until recently, Scope of Work items were carried over as well.

Scope of Work used to list individually added items which could be rearranged. This Appraisal section has been replaced with Whole Scope of Work. Rather than having to break it down as before, you are now required to provide the details in a single box below:

If you have multiple employers, they can be added under Whole Scope of Work, if you wish. The details for all will still need to be typed in a single box rather than many.

If you find that this is the case for your Appraisal, the proposed solution is to open the previous Appraisal (to be found under the Appraisal icon on your Dashboard) in a separate window, then copy & paste the Scope of Work entries into the new Appraisal. The good news is that it would need to be done only once as Scope of Work should be carried over automatically to the new Appraisal as before.
