I need to undertake Colleague Feedback

The first step would be to ensure that you have opened an MSF exercise on your account.

You can access your MSF from your Dashboard either in Overview or by clicking on the MSF/360 tile. You can also use the My MSF/360 shortcut from the drop-down list under My Dashboard in the top-left corner of the screen. You will either be taken to the current open MSF, or you will be able to start a new one by clicking on the + New MSF/360 button on your Dashboard.

If the MSF/360 tile on your Dashboard is greyed out, then it means that your organisation has not given you access to this module. You can request it by sending an email to your organisation's administrator whose contact details can be found under Help & Support on your Dashboard.

Once on your MSF page, please ensure that the 'Includes Colleague Feedback' box is ticked in the Components section of the Overview tab on the left-hand side of the screen.

To commence the process, you would need to nominate colleagues from whom you would like to receive feedback in the Colleague Feedback section on your MSF page. This can be done using the drop-down list in the Nominate Colleagues subsection (it will include other users of SARD at your organisation), or the text boxes below that list (for those without access to SARD).

'Medical' is reserved for doctors whereas 'Non-medical' is for any other staff including nurses.

Once your list of nominees is complete, you will need to click the Notify Administrator or Notify Appraiser button below. Depending on local policy for your organisation, this will either be actioned by the administrators at your organisation or by your appraiser.

The questionnaire distribution will be their responsibility – nothing further would be needed from you at that point. If you wish to send reminder notifications to those yet to respond, you can click the Remind Colleagues button in the Colleague Feedback section. This will automatically notify nominated colleagues yet to respond, that is without disturbing those who have already responded.

As this process is intentionally anonymised, it cannot be confirmed which colleagues have or have not provided feedback.

You can remain updated on the number of responses achieved via the Progress bar at the top of the Colleague Feedback section on your MSF page. The overall progress can be monitored on the Progress line in the Overview section of your open MSF page.
