I need to add an Additional/Academic Appraiser

This would be added in Section 3 of your Appraisal, Personal Details - the option to add a second appraiser will show in the final line of this section, with a tickbox to confirm whether they would be needed. Once this has been selected, you can enter the name and email address of your second appraiser.

They will be emailed to notify them that they are set as the Additional/Academic Appraiser on your appraisal. A second email will be sent to them once the appraisal has been submitted, and this will include a link to the appraisal itself; this will grant them guest access to the site in order to sign this off.

For some organisations that use SARD, Academic Appraisers will be centrally managed and it would be their responsibility to ensure they're listed as a second appraiser in this section. If this is the case for your appraisal, and your Academic Appraiser has not yet been allocated/is incorrectly listed, you should contact the administrators for your organisation to have this amended, as the SARD team will not be able to update this on their behalf. The contact details for the administrators would be listed on your SARD Dashboard page. If you click the System Support icon, their details will show in the right-hand column that shows in the section below.
