I lost all my Appraisal entries. Help!
Sometimes the newly made entries appear to vanish from the Appraisal/Portfolio or they get stuck whilst saving, most likely due to intermittent internet connection. Losing one's work is of course very frustrating but there are certain workarounds which may be helpful with retrieving lost entries.
Please mind that losing entries is not a system issue. In other words, this problem is not with SARD itself.
More often than not, this information is saved by cookies in one's web browser. In order to get it back, please click on the left-pointing arrow in the top-left corner of your browser. In theory, the previously typed up entries should reappear on your screen. Then it is just a matter of following the usual steps when working on Appraisal/Portfolio (to be found here).
If you are experiencing connectivity issues and you suspect that losing entries may happen again, please consider making a backup of your work by copying and pasting your text into a blank document, i.e. Word. The next steps would be to refresh the page, followed by adding in each box worth of text again, then saving the page using 'Save Section' rather than 'Mark As Complete' button.
