How to manage someone's leave request on eLeave?
Please mind that this Helpdesk article is only relevant for users with a Leave Approver role for their approvees.
In order to approve (or cancel, or reject) user's leave request, please follow the steps below:
- Go to your main Dashboard and click on the leave request under the 'Leave to Approve' panel (Overview mode), or under the 'Approvee Leave Requests' panel (eLeave view). Alternatively, click on the View Approver Leave button after clicking on the eLeave icon.
- Once on the eLeave page, open the specific leave request by clicking on the requested leave period in the eLeave calendar.
- In the Requested Leave pop-up window, click Approve Leave, Reject Leave or Cancel Leave as appropriate; if you need to amend anything prior to approving/rejecting/cancelling the leave request, click Save.
The approvee in question will receive an automated notification with the outcome of your decision regarding their leave request. It will be also reflected on their main Dashboard and in the eLeave calendar on their eLeave page.
