How do I start a new Job Plan, using the information from the previous SARD Job Plan?

Firstly, it would be important to note that you can only have one Draft or Submitted Job Plan on the site at one time; if you’re still awaiting signatures from one or more signatories on your previous year's Job Plan, you will not yet be able to open a new entry.

Once the previous Job Plan has been completed, it’s very simple to copy over your last Job Plan to the new entry. On the Job Planning page, click New Job Plan and a pop-up box will appear. The default option you’ll see would be Previous Complete Job Plan ; if selected, this means that the information from your previous Job Plan will be copied over to your new Job Plan. If that’s what you want, simply press the “Create” button.

You won’t be able to do this if you’ve already opened a blank Job Plan; if you’ve already opened a blank Draft Job Plan and instead wish to use the last year's Job Plan as a template, contact the administrators at your organisation to explain the issue. Their contact details will show in the section at the very top of your SARD Dashboard.

There is one last variable to be aware of when opening up a new Job Plan using the Previous Complete Job Plan template; in some circumstances, a Job Plan will not have been signed off by all parties and your organisation may have the Job Plan "archived" to allow you to open another one.
If this happens, and you previously had a Job Plan on the system fully signed off, please be aware that the “Previous Complete Job Plan” will refer to that, rather than your previous Archived Job Plan. If this is the case, simply click on the box with Previous Complete Job Plan within it, and use the drop down box of options to select Previous Archived Job Plan from the drop down list of options, then Create.
