How do I share my AHP Job Plan as a template?
The first thing to be aware of is that you do not need to do this simply to use your Job Plan as a template for your next Job Plan. If you want to use your Job Plan as a template for your next Job Plan that will automatically be an option when you open your next Job Plan. This link will take you to our helpdesk article on opening a New Job Plan using information from your previous Job Plan on the site.
Sharing your Job Plan as a template shares it with everyone with the AHP Job Planning product at your organisation. Therefore, it is important not to use this option if you do not wish to give access to details of your Job Plan timetable to others at your organisation.
With that said, it may well be the case that your Job Plan would be a really useful tool for others at your organisation; it could be that there are a number of users within your specialty who have the same or similar information in the timetable, or a complex rotational activity shared by multiple individuals in your team.
To share this, on your Job Plan page, click the green Share as Template button at the top of the page, and a new page will appear to confirm that you're happy for this to take place and whether you wish to set a specific title for this shared template. Once you've clicked the green button to confirm this, the template will be shared.
Your shared Job Plan template is essentially now a separate document; changes made there will not affect your actual Job Plan, and changes made to your actual Job Plan will not make any difference to a template which has already been created.
