How do I add signatories to my Job Plan?

To submit a Job Plan, you’ll need to have the requisite number of the relevant signatories added to your Job Plan. These are added in Section 3, Signatories.

How this is managed varies significantly depending on the organisation you work for, so the first step would be to click into that section and start by reading the instructions within it.

If the signatories are centrally managed (i.e they’re managed by the administrators for your organisation), there will be a note there to tell you that, and an email address will be provided on that page to contact if you need to have these amended. Please be aware that it is only the administrators for your organisation that can make any changes to this; the Support Team at SARD do not have the ability to make any changes on their behalf.

If these are not centrally managed, you would need to add your own signatories to the Job Plan. It may be the case that your organisation require signatories with particular roles in the organisational hierarchy, so they may have set up Compulsory or Suggested Signatories. If so, you will see a number of dropdown boxes in this section that you will need to select a signatory from and then click the + Add button on the right hand side.
As the titles suggest, in order to submit the Job Plan, you would need to select one from every box marked as Compulsory, and you may wish to select from the Suggested signatories in addition to these.

If neither of the above are applicable for your organisation, this page will instead simply ask that you manually add the signatories you need to. In which case, you should click the button to Add Signatory, enter the details for the individuals that would be most suitable and then click the + Add button on the right hand side. You would need to enter their name, email address and their sign-off role, as well as assign them a Tier.

If you’re unsure who should be selected as a signatory, or feel the options available are not suitable for you, we would recommend contacting the administrators for your organisation to confirm. Whilst we at SARD can help you with use of the system, we wouldn't be able to suggest alternatives or make amendments ourselves.
