How do I add an activity to my Job Plan Timetable?
To add an activity, we start by going to the Timetable section. The clearest display would then come from the Overview tab, if this is selected at the top of that page. If you press + New Activity to the top right of the page, this will allow you to start entering the activity details.
From there you will have to pick what Category the activity would fall under (e.g DCC, SPA, etc.)
If you’re unsure what Category the activity in question would fall under, there’s a helpful breakdown in the Instructions section of the Job Plan.
If you remain unsure how you should categorise an activity, check in with a colleague, line manager, signatory from your job plan or the administrators for your organisation, as they will be able to advise in line with local policy.
Below that you’ll be asked to add a Subcategory and Activity. Some organisations will require this information, and it will be set as a mandatory field; you’ll know if this is the case for your Job Plan, as there will be an asterisk next to the box to denote this. If this is not set as a mandatory field, you wouldn't be required to make a selection here, but this would still be useful detail to include as part of your Job Plan on the site.
You should see your Specialty in the box below these; if it is showing as blank, this will mean you haven’t picked a specialty for your account yet.
If this is the case, and the above fields are mandatory, you will need to return to your Dashboard, click Edit Details on the right hand side, add a specialty and save the change.
It’s worth doing this even if these sections aren’t mandatory; often your SARD account will have details specific to your speciality within it, so to take advantage of those it’s recommended having your specialty included within your account.
As part of your Timetable, you would need to identify the timings and frequency of the activities in your Job Plan. As this is quite a detailed process, please read our
