Evidence has an expiry date but it is still showing in my Appraisal

Evidence with an expiry date will continue to show in any Appraisals for which it has been valid for even a part of the Appraisal. It only ceases to appear in Appraisals that have been opened after the expiry date.

Example: A medic's Appraisal runs from 1st January to 31st December. They have an evidence with an expiry date of 10th January. This evidence will not disappear on 11th January – it will remain in the Appraisal for the whole year. When the medic opens their next Appraisal, the evidence will then have been removed and will not appear in the Portfolio.

Expiry dates only apply if they have been added at the time of uploading the evidence. Editing and adding an expiry date afterwards does not work for that Appraisal but will work for Appraisals going forward. Evidence with an expiry date can be removed manually by clicking on the trash icon in the Portfolio.
