ADMINISTRATOR: Searching for users and viewing user details
This article would only be applicable to users with an Administrator system role on their account, and would not include advice for non-administrator users trying to locate user details.
You can search for SARD users within your organisation by entering either their first or last name in the search bar found at the top right of your administrator page. This will present a list of users with that name as either their first or last name within your organisation. You can also search for users by their employee or GMC/GDC/PAMVR numbers.
For example, searching “John” will present a list of all users who have John as their first or last name.
Alternatively, you can click on the User Data tab at the top left of your administrator page and then select the All Users option. On the all users page, you can use the search bar at the top of the page to search for users by first or last name there as well.
N.B Entering a full name will not work, this can only include one search term.
The All Users page will list all users within your organisation, so you can just scroll through the list if you’d like, but using the search bar is a quick and easy way to find a specific person.
When performing a user search, their user details card will appear and you can access the various pages of their account using the shortcuts shown on the details card. These are highlighted via the little eye icons on the details card.
You can also click on the eye icon at the bottom right to view the main details page, or you can click on the pencil icon to edit them if needed.
When clicking on the eye icon on the details card page, it will take you to the full details page and you can access the various areas via the Options panel on the right hand side.
When clicking on the pencil, you’ll go to the editing page for the user, where you can update the products they have access to and change roles on the system if ever needed. More details on this here
On the main details page, you can also add administrator comments regarding the user, if you wish to make notes for your own reference
